Never been into Isis music, but this Sumac is different. I believe a lot is deserved by the bass player whom I’ve come to appreciate with Russian Circles and who seems to be the true backbone of the music. and Turner is very much focused with the singing here. all in all, great music: heaviness and atmosphere in one.
